Sensei Chris

Sensei Chris has trained for over 22 years. He began training under the instruction of Sensei Keith Bishop and Sensei Mick Fitzsimmons at the Trent Road Karate Club in 1997 at the age of 6

Sensei Kevin

Started Karate training 1972 in the wave of new recruits because of the popularity of Bruce Lee. This was in SKI Shotokan style at Stanford-le-Hope Essex.

Sensei Sarah

Sensei Sarah has trained in Karate for over 30 years. Her journey began as a ‘reverse Billy Elliot’.

About

We practise traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu, which focuses on effective close quarters fighting. We enjoy tournaments but believe that the true heart of karate is self-defence.
