BMABA

Who Are BMABA?

The British Martial Arts & Boxing Association (BMABA) operates as an independent professional organization with a primary mission to uphold and sustain high standards among coaches and clubs. Its core focus is the promotion of active participation and the facilitation of societal transformation through its foundational principles. The BMABA efficiently oversees the administration of martial arts instruction by its roster of BMABA registered coaches and affiliated clubs.

Within this framework, the clubs assume a multifaceted role that extends beyond mere training facilities. The BMABA, in representing the efforts of its students on the global stage, offers a comprehensive array of resources essential for success in both competitive endeavors and club-related activities. These resources include crucial elements such as licensing and insurance coverage, all of which play a pivotal role in fostering the development of athletes who are poised for current achievements as well as future support for their families.

The unwavering commitment demonstrated by the coaching staff is of paramount importance. It encompasses personalized guidance from dedicated coaches for each athlete, ensuring equitable benefits for all students within this environment. This collective approach grants access to cutting-edge training techniques informed by the extensive knowledge and experience garnered by coaches through years of tireless teaching and mentorship.

About

We practise traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu, which focuses on effective close quarters fighting. We enjoy tournaments but believe that the true heart of karate is self-defence.
