CONDITIONING & BAG WORK

Conditioning the body and mind is an important part of karate. Strengthening the body so that it can perform effectively is great for fitness and knowing what it's like to hit or take a blow prepares you against an attacker.

Within Our classes we do a range of exercises that are designed to help you get in shape, including body conditioning, Hojo Undo and bag work. Body conditioning is a great way to improve your fitness and flexibility, and Hojo Undo is a great way to improve your strength and cardio fitness. Bag work is a great way to improve your coordination and reaction time.

All of these classes are designed to give you a full-body workout, and they're all taught by experienced instructors who can help you get the most out of your workout. So, whether you're looking to get fit for fun or competition, Chelmsford Karate has a class for you.

About

We practise traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu, which focuses on effective close quarters fighting. We enjoy tournaments but believe that the true heart of karate is self-defence.
