Unlock Your Potential with Personalized 1-2-1 Karate Coaching
Why Choose 1-2-1 Karate Coaching?
Our 1-2-1 coaching programme provides personalised tuition that helps people to learn self defence concepts and improve their karate quickly and effectively. The private coaching environment allows people to learn at their own pace, without the pressure of a group class.1-2-1 coaching also gives people the opportunity to focus on specific areas that they need to work on, whether that’s perfecting their punches or working on their footwork. As well as helping people to learn karate and self defence, 1-2-1 coaching can also be used to improve fitness levels, increase confidence and build self-esteem. Whether you’re looking to learn self defence for practical purposes or you’re interested in getting fit and healthy, 1-2-1 coaching can help you to achieve your goals.
One-to-one classes are also suited for those who find it difficult to attend the set weekly classes or it could be that you are just starting training and want to build your confidence before joining classes. 1-2-1 sessions are taught by Sensei Chris.
Prices for private training can vary depending on how often you want to train and how long for. When you sign up for one-to-one coaching, we will work out your needs and what you want to achieve from the private coaching and put a training development programme in place.

ABOUT US
WHAT WE DO AND WHO WE ARE?
Self Defence
At Chelmsford Karate, we believe that it is important to learn Self Defence concepts so that you can always be prepared to defend yourself in an unknown situation.
Strength & Conditioning
Conditioning the body and mind is an important part of karate and any Martial Arts. Strengthening the body so that it can perform effectively is great for fitness and knowing what it’s like to hit or take a blow prepares you against an attacker.
Kata & Bunkai
Kata strings techniques together so you can practice them on your own. They are more than just a sequence of moves and unlike some clubs we also analyse and practice the meaning of the moves (Bunkai)
Kumite
We perform both structured sparring and free sparring to help build confidence in a combat situation and practice the techniques learnt in class.
